About

Abira Mirza is a designer and businesswoman. She is passionate about inclusive and integrative design decisions and a desire to critically challenge current design paradigms. During her career she has tackled a wide variety of roles including participating in capstone courses to develop high level business plans for multinational companies, worked as a teaching assistant for a graduate level structures course, and acted as an outreach lead for Advocates for Equitable Design Education (AEDE), a graduate student non-profit organization. Abira is currently pursuing her license to become a Canadian accredited architect.
